‘Connected consumer’ CRM event assembles digital leadersLuc Malcorps
Over 30 marketing, sales and IT experts, especially from retail and fashion companies, participated in the ‘Connected Consumer’ event in Amsterdam, on March 6th. The Digital leaders meeting at the prestigious ‘The Dylan’ Hotel in Amsterdam was an initiative of Emakina and its partner Selligent.
All present were united around the idea that integrated customer experiences are vital in the battle for the consumer and that it is time to create a market revolution.
After a demo by Selligent in the vast possibilities of their solution, Emakina’s CEO Brice Le Blévennec welcomed the guests for the dinner, and canvassed trends in CRM.

Selligent’s VP Product Marketing Jan Teerlinck, further developed this idea and talked about the striking new possibilities offered by retargeting. His intevention was appreciated by the audience and sparked further debate.
Floris Regouin, Head of Digital Marketing at Samsung also gave an inspiring presentation. Participants reacted that he brought a ‘strong story’, building a clear case of how Samsung really places the customer at the center of activities. The evening was clearly a happy and successful get together.
The five star ‘The Dylan’ was a worthy stage for this CRM meeting. And it really is a stage… the place was built in 1637 as a theatre, once even hosting a performance of the great Vivaldi. Of course, Emakina and Selligent played a different tune, one where organisations and their consumers can dance to the music of personalised digital relationships.
